What makes Urdu Madrasa books different from other Urdu books for kids?

Our books use real photographs because research shows children learn and recognize words faster when connected to real-life
images.

We also include Urdu script, Roman Urdu, and English translations so families at different levels of fluency can learn together.

Plus, each book comes with a companion read-along audio version, so parents can confidently teach pronunciation and help their kids engage with the language, even if they aren’t fluent themselves.

Are these books only for kids who already speak Urdu?

Not at all! Our books are designed for children at all levels of Urdu exposure from beginners learning their first words to fluent speakers strengthening vocabulary. Parents who aren’t fluent in Urdu will also find them easy to use.

At what age can my child start using these books?

Our resources are created for toddlers and preschoolers but are helpful for older children too especially those learning to read in Urdu for the first time.

Do I need to know how to read Urdu to use the books with my child?

No. Each word includes Roman Urdu (transliteration) and English translation, so even parents who don’t read Urdu script can guide their children confidently. Plus, each book comes with a companion read-along audio version, so parents can confidently teach pronunciation and help their kids engage with the language, even if they aren’t fluent themselves.

Are the books available outside Canada?

Yes! We currently ship to the US, UK, and Canada. Families in these regions can easily access our books and resources. (We’re working on expanding shipping to more countries soon!)

How do I know which book is right for my child?

Each book is designed with simple, everyday themes that children can connect with instantly. You can start with any book, and your child will naturally build vocabulary and confidence as they explore.

Do the books teach children how to write in Urdu as well?

Our current collection focuses on recognition and vocabulary building. Writing resources are something we’re exploring for the future.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times depend on your location and which fulfillment center your order is shipped from:

  • Canada: 3–7 business days
  • US: 7–14 business days
  • UK: 10–15 business days

Are the books durable for toddlers and preschoolers?

Yes! Our books are designed to withstand little hands, with sturdy pages and kid-friendly materials so they last for repeated use.

How can I access the free audio companion?

Each book comes with instructions for accessing the free audio companion. You’ll be able to stream or download the recordings so your child can listen anytime.

Can I pre-order books now?

Yes! Pre-orders will open on December 29, 2025.

As a small business, we want to ensure every order is handled with care. All pre-orders will be shipped on April 15, 2026.
